About
Nicholas Pow works at the intersection of strategy, commerce, and language, advising companies that need to operate credibly on both sides of a cross-border transaction.

Nicholas built his perspective in Southern Spain, a region where international investment, tourism, development, and cross-border trade meet daily. That environment made a particular kind of work obvious early: helping parties who want the same outcome but describe it in incompatible terms.
As a native speaker of both English and Spanish, he does more than translate words. He interprets intent, commercial custom, and market context on both sides of a conversation, which is usually where cross-border transactions succeed or stall.
His work now spans business acquisitions, land acquisitions, marketing and data-driven strategy, go-to-market planning, commercial finance, and property development. The disciplines look separate on paper, but in practice they overlap constantly: a land purchase needs a feasibility view, an acquisition needs a market read, and a market entry frequently ends in a transaction.
He works with clients across Spain, the United Kingdom, Ireland, the United States, Mexico, Colombia, and Chile. Each of those markets rewards a different pace and a different opening move, and treating them as interchangeable is one of the most expensive mistakes an expanding company can make.
Engagements are deliberately kept small in number so that each one gets direct attention. Nicholas is the person in the room, not the name on the proposal.
Approach
Advice is only useful if its limits are stated. Where the data is thin or the market is unreadable, Nicholas says so rather than dressing an assumption as a finding.
Understanding what the other side means, and why they said it that way, is more valuable in a cross-border deal than any single technical skill.
Most of the value in a cross-border transaction is realised after completion, which is exactly when attention tends to drop away.
